Christmas gifts from Lough Derg

Christmas is fast approaching – even here at Lough Derg. We had such a lovely response last year to the introduction of our Christmas gifts range that we have been working behind the scenes (since the Summer!) to bring a new Christmas range to you and all our faithful Lough Derg friends.

Mary has been picking her favourite pieces and she has recorded a video from the Lough Derg shop, which you can click to watch below:

We know many of you have missed your visit to Station Island over 2020 and 2021, and we hope that this will be a little opportunity for you to bring Lough Derg into your homes over the Christmas period, and perhaps to ‘give the gift of Lough Derg’ to your loved ones too.

Fr La will offer a triduum of Masses, beginning on Christmas Eve, for all those who receive one of our beautiful Lough Derg Mass Bouquets.

We also have a new Lough Derg Christmas candle, which would be a lovely addition to your  prayer space around Christmas, while our ‘Lough Derg through the centuries’ pack of 6 Christmas cards features some changing scenes of Station Island from the 1800s to the present.

Our thanks to all who have bought or sold tickets for the Lough Derg Annual Draw this year; these funds will be a great help to us to maintain the Island over the winter months. We take this chance to remind you that the closing date for return of tickets is Friday 19th November.

If you haven’t yet got your ticket, you can still buy one in our online shop until then, and get your name down for the chance to win €10,000.  Who knows – your luck might be in!

Our Christmas stock is available now here: www.loughderg.live/shop

or by calling us on 00353 (0) 71 9861518 from 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.

Fr La says,

“As we approach the end of another different year, we look with hope to 2022. On behalf of all at the Lough Derg Team, we send a heartfelt thanks to all of you for your continuous support and encouragement, your prayers and intentions.  Beir beannacht!”
